Mike's 40th Birthday in Maryland

Our family had the opportunity to head down to Maryland to celebrate Mike 40th Birthday. Despite the long drive with 5 kids (including a 3 month old) it was well worth the trip. Happy Birthday Mike!

After barbecue, ice cream, and cake the group hung out playing Rock band.

Becky always has sets the right mood for any event.

The following day was pretty laid back. The boys hung out. David and Mike took off for a casual Kayak ride down a local river.

Maybe its just my boys, but they really like playing video games ; )

Each of Becky's pets stalked Sarah the entire trip. They knew it was "pay day" every time she ate.

With June heat beating down on us, Becky blew up a small pool for the kids to cool off in.

I might add, Rachel took each of the Kayaking pics. : )

Silly isn't that we should look like we have triumphed over a small river like this. Particularly when we hadn't even started yet.

After yet another a great trip to see Becky and Mike, it was again time to head home.
