Revolution Soccer Game

As we try to do every fall, Rachel and I went to a terrific Revolution MLS soccer game. We had a great time, despite fighting traffic, getting deperately lost, and being turned away at the gate for having the wrong type of camera equipment.

This picture isn't all that great, but I just held the camera out in front of us and snapped something off.

Boston Science Museum

Bethany took the kids to the Boston Science Museum where we met up after work. Fortunately, it was just a short subway ride away.

When I arrived, I found the boys spell bound for over an hour watching pool balls move their way around a mechanical sculpture. They were almost hypnotized by its regular rhythm and complex interactions.

The only problem was, Rachel didn't find it so exciting. : )

With Rachel starting to get a bit grumpy, we moved on...

...even then, it was hard for the boys to let it go. : )

Ethan found this play schoolhouse and it became nearly impossible to get him out.

The kids found a microscope that projected it's magnified image on a TV monitor. The museum had a wide number of things to view under magnification. They had a great time playing scientist.

Ethan had fun just putting his hand under scope and observing how big his fingers became : )

Sarah was fantastic during the entire evening. She sat enjoying as she watched everything that went on.

By the time we started to head home, the evening had passed and everyone was a bit tired.

Before we left, Rachel grabbed the camera a took a few pictures. This one was of me.

I snapped this picture of Boston from our parking garage as we packed the truck to leave.

Bed Time at the Morey's

Often, the boys climb into bed with Rachel and somehow fall asleep on her twin size bed. It never ceases to amaze us how they rarely ever fall off. (It happend once)

Sarah too enjoys a good night's rest. But she doesn't yet join the older ones.

Last June's Visit to NYC

Last June David attended some meetings in New York City. While there, one of his meetings took him to the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). This picture was taken one evening, (after market hours ; ) and includes David having fun hammering the famous gavel. We included it on the Blog for fun.

One of the two people standing with him was his co-worker. The other was a person who works at NYSE and was meeting with him.

Kid's Trip to the Boston Temple

The kids recently had the opportunity to go with the primary to visit the Boston Temple. They each got dressed up in their Sunday best, and received illustrative temple recommends. They even got the chance to go into the temple and "present" their recommend at the front desk.

Afterward, they met with a member of the Temple Presidency and visited the nearby home of the Temple Matron where they each got a choice of cookies.

It was a special memory for each of them.

Not all, but a bunch of the kid's primary group.

Here is a copy of their "Recomend" : )

This is one of Rachel's close friends.

Sarah too went, but she didn't make it through the entire activity.
