Strawberry Banke - Portsmouth, NH

Bethany and the kids met up with Lisa and her daughter for another "field trip" to Portsmouth, NH. We spent the day at Strawberry Banke, a historic set of homes dating from the 1600's to the 1950's.

The New England Aquarium

Bethany decided to take the kids to Botson's New England Aquarium as part of her summer "field trip series." It was only a short walk from David's office so he joined up with the family after work.

We had a really good time. Who knew looking a fish in water could have been as exciting as they were.

These pictures were taken with Bethany's old "point and shoot" camera.

Rachel and David chased this massive Sea Turtle around for some time. It may have been over six feet long. The turtle's head was so large, it even seemed bigger than Rachel's.

Ethan's 4th Birthday and the death of David's Camera

We enjoyed Ethan's 4th birthday as a family at home. Sadly, it was while David was taking pictures of the celebration that his camera met an untimely demise.

4th of July in Frederick, MD

We were lucky to spend the 4th of July weekend with Becky and Mike in Maryland this year. We had an excellent barbeque and (illegal Pennsylvania) fireworks in their backyard. The kids, Becky, and Stan also spent some time swimming in the pool. And although there is no photographic evidence, Beth also went on her first post-baby jog. Let me tell you, that jog was not a pretty sight. :-)
