Just Hang'n Out

Here are a couple quick pictures of us hang'n out.

Family Picture

For Mother's day this year, David's Mom had been asking for a copy of our family picture. So, we swung out after church today and snapped a more recent shot.

As always the kids squirmed quite a bit. It seemed like when one was smiling, one of the others would scratch their nose or look up into the sky. After more than 40 attempts, this was the best of the bunch. : )

2 Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed ...

I'm sure you remember how the rhyme ends. :-) Somehow Ethan "tripped" over Ben on the bed the night before Sarah's first birthday. So the morning of Sarah's birthday we took Ethan to the doctor to get his eye examined. Luckily, it was just a huge bump, and a nasty bruise. We decided that a black eye of this magnitude deserved a little documenting. :-)

We plan on using these photos to remind the boys to not be monkeys on the bed. :-)

Father and Son Campout

Ben, Ethan, and I attended the annual Father and Son campout. We had a great time. As always, it left us looking forward to the next campout.

As you'd expect, Ben was fascinated with the fire and couldn't stop playing in it. : )

We enjoyed a few scary fireside stories.↑

Ben was shocked by friends jumping from the woods at just the right time in the story when the "bad guy" gets the campers.↓

Well after 12:00 midnight, the group was getting tired. It was time for bed.

The morning came quickly and it was back to the fire.

At one point, Ethan got a bit upset about something, but he quickly headed back out after he felt like himself again.

It was another great campout where the boys had fun.
