A Bedroom Mashup

Dave and I were going to bed a couple of nights ago, and went to check on the kids. We went into Rachel's room and discovered this mashup ...

Apparently everyone decided to climb into the same bed.

You may note ...Ethan has a tendency to blend into the blankets ; ) Rachel has her Yankees blanket and her nearby collection of stuffed animals sits on the window sill.

Renovating a Basement

We're in the process of finishing our basement. Well, paying someone to finish our basement :-) Here' are a couple of pictures of our progress. Basically all the framing is complete, the heating and air conditioning is done, and we hope to begin the electrical work this week.

The bottom of the stairs. To the right will be the playroom, media room, bedroom, and bathroom. The left side will be food storage, second refrigerator, and anything else we can't decide where to put them.

If we ever finish it, there will be even more room for visitors! :-)

Rachel's Last Soccer Game of the Season

Rachel had a great time playing soccer this spring. She had an intense coach, who taught her a lot about effort and perseverance. Here are some shots of her last game.
