A Quick Trip back to Rochester

We had a "free" weekend (it was "General Holiday" ...or as some call it "General Conference weekend :), so Bethany and I decided to head back to Rochester for a quick day and a half visit and another chance for me to attend the General Priesthood session with my Dad.

Though the temperatures were a bit cold (surprised?) several of us took a walk along the Erie Canal while waiting for Sunday dinner.

I have no idea what Ben and Ethan were up to. All of a sudden they started making these silly poses like there we action heroes frozen in time. : ) ↓

We found a large number of shells along the bank of the water and we brought some home for a memorial of our cancal walk. Grandma Morey even sent a few to Evan out in California for one of his school projects. ↓

Our casual walk in the cold Rochester spring was a good time spent by all.

Sunday dinner was great. As always, there is nothing like Grandma's home cooking cooking and ice cream. :) ↓

The day and a half went way too fast for all of us. But, finally we had to go. Before we left, I set up the tripod to capture a picture of all of us outside Mom and Dad's house. ↓
