Below, Dad and Libby are enjoying the 5K. The three of us decided to join in on the 5K. We were a few minutes late in our start so we trailed the pack a bit more than we expected. ↓
Kathy was came in next, finishing off her 13.1 mile half Marathon. ↓
Sue too came in strong soon after Kathy as she finished her 13.1 mile half Marathon. ↓
There was a pretty big crowd gathered at the Gateway Center to receive the runners. ↓
After a grueling 26.2 miles in a higher than normal altitude, Becky and Debbie strongly jogged across the finish line together ...arm in arm. No minor task when they both normally train pretty close to sea level.
Everyone was ecstatic at the entire group's accomplishments.
...until the next marathon. : )
