Soccer/Soccer/Soccer and 3 Shutouts

Saturday was about Soccer, followed by Soccer, and finally Soccer. : )

Our day started by attending Rachel's first "traveling" Soccer game of the year. Their team name is the "Guten-Sixers" (I confess, I 'm not sure why). Rachel played goalie for the entire game. She did a great job. Nothing got by her! Her team won 3-0. ↓

The family took turns cheering on Rachel. ↓

There was a huge playground by the soccer fields where Rachel was playing. Everyone had a great time there.

After the game, Rachel and Dave went to Gillette Stadium in Foxborough (the Patriots play there) to watch a professional soccer double header. First they saw the US Women's soccer team crush the Mexican national team 5-0. Then they watched the MLS team, NE Revolution play Toronto's team (NE won 4-0 ...the 3rd shutout of the DAY). All in all, it was a great day for soccer. It didn't rain, and all our teams won! ↓

Though things turned a bit cold toward the end, it was a pretty terrific day. ↓
