Smores in the American Fork Canyon

I had the chance this past week to travel to Salt Lake for Business. While there I took the time to see several good old friends I hadn't seen in many years. I also had a chance to spend an evening with Kathy, Libby, Jake, and their kids. : )

We had a great picnic spot in American Fork Canyon next to a rushing stream. Kathy picked the place well.

QE2 (Elizabeth) really enjoyed the watermelon. ↓

With the fire going, and cool temperatures setting in, it came time for marshmallows and smores.: )

QE2 needed a bit of help and when her marshmallow became a torch, she was getting a bit frustrated: )

Good times. Good food. Great family times. : )
Sadly, night came and it was all too soon time to head back to the hotel. : (
